Project - develop your own blog
This project is really about understanding, designing for, and publishing your single point of view and professional presence on the Web. Integral to this project is to understand and carefully use the array of web services to build your professional presence on the Social Web.
This is a good project for those interested in using the Web in their profession but are not especially interested in technical development of sites and services. For example, you may be focused on Political Science, Sociology, Economics, etc., and simply want to understand how to use the widely available tools and services available on the Web to advance yourself in the future.
The purpose of this project is for you to build a "complete" web presense for yourself and develop a plan to maintain and grow it.

This project requires a project brief and a project calendar. Use Google Calendar and share your project calendar with me.
The goal of this project
is to have you build a blogging presence for yourself by the end of this semester. This includes a clear plan to consistently publish and link your blog to other appropriate web services, e.g., a professional website, Linkedin, Facebook, Flickr, etc. This is a good way to publish/promote yourself.
You are free to establish, and then meet, your own mileposts/objectives to guide yourself to this goal by the end of this semester.
